Job Description :

Urgent need for a Social Worker  for one of our client which is a Hospital.

• Job Location: Southgate, MI
• Shift: Days(8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Duration of Contract: PERM
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Shift Notes: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Develop schedule with supervisor and work at least 4 hours each week after 5:00. Full-time staff must provide 23 hours of billable service per week.

Pay rate:  $62,536 - $84,610

Job Description:

• Assisting clients in receiving services by telephone and in person.
• Getting clients involved in beneficial activities.
• Assessing clients and gathering relevant information.
• Offering information and supporting clients and their families.
• Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.

Position Requirements:

• Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university. - Required
• Must have and retain a valid TLLP or LLP in Psychology with the State of Michigan. - Required
• At least eight (8) months experience in the area of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities - Required.
• At least one year experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families. - Required
• Experience with testing instruments including WAIS, WISC, Vineland, ADOS and ADIR - Preferred.
• Must have and retain a valid TLLP or LLP in Psychology with the State of Michigan.
• Must have MI State License.
