Urgent need for a Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP)for one of our client which is a Home Health

• Specialty: Home Health
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Good duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day(8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m)
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
• Weekend Requirements: Every 4-6 weekends/Holiday Coverage Required if needed

NOTE: BERKSHIRE HEALTH SYSTEM WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY.

Weekly Stipend: $1554

Gross Weekly pay- $2800

Pay Rate: $70/hr

License/Certification Requirements:

• 2 years minimum SLP Home Care experience [required]
• Valid Driver License required for this need [required]
• Acute care experience [preferred]
• Master or Doctorate Degree [required]
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) [required] [document]. Clinical Fellow candidates accepted
• MA SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST LICENSE [REQUIRED]
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle
• BLS Required
• MA State License Required

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
