Urgent need for a Sterile Processing Tech for one of our client which is a Hospital

Job Location: Port Huron, MI 48060

Shift: 8 Hour Varied Shifts - preferred 3PM-11:30PM Afternoons

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs

Minimum years of experience: 3 years

Pay rate: $30/hr

Job Description:

• Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments, medical supplies and equipment, and assembles, wraps and sterilizes trays of instruments. Follows proper standard precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas.
• Monitors biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
• Sorts mismatched sets of instruments, trays, and medical equipment and makes them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ Years of experience - Required
• Travel - Required
• BLS does not need to be AHA, but they must have BLS/CPR - Required
• Will accept CBSPD in place of IAHCSMM
• HSPA (IAHCSMM)
• Covid Vaccination required
