Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Hilo, Hawaii. In this role, you will ensure surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and ready for safe patient care.

Pay rate: $38/hr

Schedule:

Primarily Monday–Friday, 12:30pm–9:00pm

Occasional, 600am-230pm
Rotational weekends/on-call as needed

No of weeks: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active Hawaii license (must obtain prior to start)
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required
• Minimum 2 years recent hospital or surgical center SPD experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and wrap surgical trays and case carts
• Operate autoclaves, AER, and sterilization equipment
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and logs
• Follow AAMI, AORN, OSHA, and facility protocols
• Support OR staff to ensure timely instrument availability
