**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Sterile Processing Technician – Certified for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Pay Rate: $45/hr
• Job Location: Honolulu, HI 96817
• Shift : 8 hour rotating shifts
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40Hrs

Requirements:

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician certification required before start of contract
• Minimum 4 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Active state license required
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and surgical instrumentation

Job Responsibilities:

• Process, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure proper operation of steam and gas autoclaves/sterilizers.
• Perform and document biological and chemical sterilization testing.
• Prepare surgical trays and special procedure items for sterilization.
• Properly wrap and package instruments and supplies according to sterilization principles.
