**Quick Start**

Urgent requirement for RN Wound Care for one of our client , which is a Hospital

• Job Location: New York, NY, 10004
• Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM;
• No of weeks:3 Months + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs

NOTE: 70% of the role will be in office, nurse might be required to travel to patients home (MA, BKLYN, BX &QU) to complete wound care consults. On average nurse will be handling 15 to 20 consults a day

Pay rate:$90/hr

Requirements:

• BLS Required
• Covid vaccination Required
• Nurse must be Wound Care Certified
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Certified Home Health Agency or post-acute care facility. Minimum of 2 years of Public/Community Health and 2 years medical/surgical experience required.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License Certification as a Wound Care Nurse or Wound Ostomy Care Nurse

Job Description:

• Collaborates with home health interdisciplinary team to review potential wound care patients for Home Care Program and appropriately assesses their eligibility for admission to Home Care.
• As requested, conducts comprehensive assessment of deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns, pressure injuries or bedsores, continence and diabetic foot wounds to determine potential wound complications, immediate treatment needs and long-term treatment plans; works with other members of the health care team to determine if additional treatments or changes in care are required.
