**Quick Start**

Urgent need for an experienced Hospital Pharmacist! This is a traveler assignment supporting the hospital’s EMR conversion from Meditech to EPIC.

• Pay Rate: $80/Hr
• Job Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
• Shift: 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM (Monday–Friday), Rotating weekends: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Number of Weeks: 20 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40

Requirements

• Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience
• EPIC experience required (Meditech a plus)
• BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Flu vaccination required (Oct–Apr, no exemptions)
• Ability to work rotating day/evening shifts including weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, compound, and dispense medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition
• Maintain medication stock and ensure safe, cost-effective therapy
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dosing accuracy
• Review culture & sensitivity data and recommend antibiotic adjustments
• Provide clinical consultation and drug information to staff, patients, and families
• Accurately document all clinical activities and interventions
