Urgent need for a RN for one of our client which is a Hospital.

• Specialty Progressive Care/Stepdown
• Job Location: Rock Island, IL 61201
• Shift: Days: 12 hr
• Guaranteed hours : 36 hrs GTD
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Note: May be asked to float across all campuses: Bettendorf (IA), Moline, Muscatine (IA), TRI.

Pay breakdown: As per 36 hours per week
Taxable pay per week:$1,166
non taxable pay per week:$1,246
total gross per week:$2,412

Job Description:

• Post Open Heart patients (after 24 hours in ICU), TAVRs, Watchman, Cardiac drips, Sheaths, TEE, Cardioversions, to name a few things Cardiac Stepdown wise with a mix of Med Surg
• Some stroke care and once corrected, patient moves to lesser acuity floor
• Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs
• Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers

Submission Requirements:

• 2 years current experience in PCU, Cardiac/Tele or Stepdown - Required
• Strong cardiac skillset and care
• IL RN license active at time of submission. If IA RN license is NOT active, MUST show proof of application for IA RN single state license or Compact RN license before cleared to start.

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• IA RN single state or Compact RN license
