**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Ultrasound Technician with our client, which is a Hospital

• Pay rate: $56/hr
• Job Location: Bakersfield, CA 93306
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: Mostly 10-hour day shifts | Rotating schedule | Overnight on-call required | Occasional graveyard shifts as needed.
• Duration of Contract: 13 Weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs

Requirements:

• ARDMS certification (Required)
• Current BLS certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital ultrasound experience
• Required experience in Vascular and OB Ultrasound
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including Vascular and OB studies.
• Correlate patient history with examination requirements and document findings accurately.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies and aspirations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, billing, and imaging records.
