Job Description :

**Quick Start**

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for one of our hospital clients,

• Pay rate: $56/hr
• Job Location: Arcata, CA 95518
• Shift: 8-hr. day shifts
• No of weeks: 13 weeks + extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours a week

Requirements:

• Current, active California CLS or MLS license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
• CLS Generalist experience preferred
• Extensive QC experience preferred
• LIS: Harvest

Housing:

Potential housing options are available in Arcata, Eureka, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Westhaven, Samoa, and Fortuna, generally within a 20–30-mile radius of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical laboratory testing across multiple laboratory departments as a CLS Generalist.
• Process and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently.
• Perform quality control (QC) procedures and monitor test performance.
• Review QC results, identify trends or issues, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
