**Quick Start**

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Clinical Supervisor to oversee daily clinical and operational activities within the L&D unit,

• Pay rate: $92/hr
• Job Location: Bakersfield, CA 93306
• Shift: Days (0800-1630 Monday -Friday)
• Duration of Contract: 12 Weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs

Requirements:

• 5+ years of recent supervisory experience in an acute-care facility
• 2+ years of experience in a trauma hospital
• Current, unrestricted California RN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing OR Associate's degree in Nursing plus national certification in an area of expertise
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS
• Previous Labor & Delivery leadership experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, supervise, and direct daily clinical and operational activities in Labor & Delivery.
• Manage staffing based on patient acuity, productivity, and unit needs.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Support staff orientation, education, training, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of care.
