**Quick Start**

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility,

• Pay Rate: $42/hr
• Job Location: Gunnison, CO 81230
• Shift: Day 12 hour shifts (6a - 6p)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36hr guarantee

Position Requirements:

• Active Colorado LPN license
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable setting
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• IV certification preferred
• Ability to complete the required Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
• Reliable transportation required due to the rural location and lack of public transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and facility protocols.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the RN, physician, or Director of Nursing.
• Perform assessments, vital signs, wound care, and other required nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain their comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities during the assigned shift.
