Job Description :

Urgent need for a Pharmacy Tech for one of our client which is a Medical Center,

• Job Location: 725 North St Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Shift: Evenings (8hr)
• Shift Note : Primary evening shift but will need to cover overnight or other shifts as needed
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 Hour Guarantee
• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $30/hr

Job Description:

• Supports pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
• Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Submission Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of current or past inpatient hospital experiences.
• Able to mix compounds - Required
• Must be proficient in functions of Hospital Pharmacy Technician job.
• PHARM TECH CERT - Certified Pharmcy Tech by PTCB - PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION BOARD - REQUIRED
• PHARMTECH REG -Registered MA Pharmacy Tech
• BLS (AHA) - Required
• COVID VACCINE REQUIRED
• Must have MA State License
