**Quick Start**

We are seeking a Phlebotomist for one of our clients, a hospital.

• Pay: $40/hr
• Job Location: Honolulu HI 96817
• Shift: 8 hour rotating shifts. weekends inclusive
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours per week: 32hours/week

Qualifications and Requirements:

• MUST have Active Hawaii State License.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of venipuncture and specimen-handling procedures.
• Basic computer and laboratory information-system skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, heel sticks, and finger sticks
• Verify patient identification and demographic information
• Order and prepare laboratory tests according to established standards
• Review laboratory orders and verify physician information
• Process pathology and cytology specimens, bone marrow biopsies, and fine-needle aspirates
• Review and print pathology reports and enter applicable histology charges
