Urgent need for a Med Surg RN for one of our client which is a Medical Center,

Job Location: 725 North St Pittsfield, MA 01201

Shift : Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holiday rotation required

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $65/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• MED SURG TRAVELERS MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY MS UNIT
• 2 years current MS experience
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion Strongly preferred
• Neuro experience - Strongly Preferred! - Please note experience on profile
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• ACLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. FACILITY WILL NOT PEND ACLS UPON OFFER
