Urgent need for a RN for one of our client which is a Medical Center,

• Specialty: Wound Care
• Job Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Shift : 7a-3.30p or 8a-4.30p
• Weekend Requirements: Every fourth weekend/Holiday coverage required if scheduled
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $75/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing and monitoring wounds
• Cleaning and bandaging wounds
• Working collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to determine if additional treatments or changes in care are required
• Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care
• Writing orders to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown

Position Requirements:

• 2 years current wound care experience
• Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) required - NON NEGOTIABLE! MUST BE IN-HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD!
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• ACLS (AHA) required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Wound Care Certification required
• MA license MUST be in hand
