Urgent need for a RN Med Surg for one of our client which is a Hospital

• Job Location: 1026 A Ave NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402
• Shift: Rotating (Day/Night rotation)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week (Every Other Weekend/Holiday Rotation)
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $72/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years current Med Surg experience
• Will float to multiple Units while on assignment
• Float for Medical, Surgical and step down. Critical care experience a plus but not required.
• Holiday coverage may be required
• BLS – Required
• COVID Vaccine Required
• Must have IA State License.
