Urgent need for a Med Surg RN for one of our client which is a Hospital

Job Location: Waterloo, IA 50703

Shift: Nights: 7P-7A

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 48 hrs/week

Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $70/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.

Position Requirements:

• 1 year current clinical experience in required specialty - Required
• BLS – Required
• Covid Vaccination Required
• Tele Strip Reading experience - Required
• Cardiac Drip experience – Required
• Must have IA State Licese. Compact will also be considered
