Urgent need for a Med Surg RN for one of our client which is a Medical Center,

• Job Location: 725 North St Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Shift : Evenings
• Shift Notes: 11a-11.30p 36hr guarantee OR 3p-11.30p 40hr guarantee
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holiday rotation required
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• MED SURG TRAVELERS MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY MS UNIT
• 2 years current MS experience
• Willingness to float- Required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion STRONGLY REQUIRED
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BLS AND ACLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. Facility will not pend either of these certifications.
• AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
