**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Sterile Processing Technician for one of our client which is a Medical center,

• Pay Rate: $43/hr
• Job Location: Chico, CA 95926
• Shift : 1300-2130, 8-hr shift length, varied days off
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40Hrs

Requirements:

• Experienced Sterile Processing Technician.
• Experience working in an inpatient Main OR.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current CBSPD, HSPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Previous traveler assignment experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure proper operation of steam and gas autoclaves/sterilizers.
• Perform and document biological and chemical sterilization testing.
• Prepare surgical trays and special procedure items for sterilization.
• Properly wrap and package instruments and supplies according to sterilization principles.
