**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Level II Trauma Center Surgical Technologist for its inpatient main Operating Room (OR),

• Pay Rate: $46/hr
• Job Location: Chico, CA 95926
• Shift : 10-Hour Shifts | Varied Shifts and Days Off
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40Hrs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist, OR graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician course.
• Current BLS/BCLS (CPR) certification.
• Ability to work varied 10-hour shifts, varied days off, and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to provide holiday coverage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with appropriate surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention protocols.
• Assist surgeons and other surgical team members during procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available.
• Follow established patient safety and operating room procedures.
• Float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery Center when required.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
